I want to understand why they are doing this. Solarinace- I have known them, served them my entire life. And this- it feels wrong. Unlike them. I would know why.

[Know if she has been a fool, or if she has been actively lied to.]

Scientists seek discovery--to know why we are doing something, what results it may lead to, and how to best achieve them. Pursuing knowledge is how we make progress.

If you say this is unlike them, I believe you. And so too do I believe one must seek a clear picture with a calm mind before passing judgement or taking action.

You would be surprised at what can be saved despite seeming too far gone, I think. We both want the same thing in this, Faith--anything I am capable of aiding you in, you only need ask it of me.

Here--it is not much of significance, but I find having material reminders one is not necessarily alone to be a reassurance.

Butterflies are...a commonly understood symbol of many things. Primarily, concepts like fate and evolu--metamorphosis. I simply thought it might suit you.
