I have become aware it is a frozen dessert made using milk or cweam- CREAM- along with sugar and often some other manner of flavoring or filling.

[That is a dictionary-ass definition, this is definitely a thing she just learned.]

A version of it has appeared in the dining hall on several occasions, I think.

This is. Genuinely making Kanade sad. Not because she has any serious attachment to ice cream or thinks of it as some great important food that you haven't lived until you tried, but it's just... so normal to her. So not really knowing what it is...]

... You know... when you said you wanted to visit our worlds. There are a lot of really nice shops in Tokyo that have all kinds of flavors to try. Mizuki and I can show you some of them, if you want. You can even meet Ena and Mafuyu when we take you out.

[She's not gonna cry. But she seems maybe a little shocked at the offer, even after everything Kanade's said. Maybe it's the certainty with which she speaks about it.]

That would be lovely, Lady Kanade. I would like that.

[... She understands it. At least, she thinks she does. The feeling of being caught between what you feel like you have to do, what you've devoted every part of yourself for... and what you want to do.

She thinks of her own struggle not too long ago. Her grandma asking her what she wants to do after she graduates. She thought about Ena and KAITO and the others talking to her about her love of composing, that it's okay for her to want to focus on herself. Her inability, though, to see composing as a thing she wants to do - it's something she has to do. She is a vessel for the salvation of others, and she can't think about things she likes when she has a goal in mind.

... Maybe it's hypocritical of her, that she can acknowledge this, but ignore herself while encouraging others. But Kanade has always been a bit of a hypocrite.]

... It would be nice, having something quiet and normal after all of this, even if nothing about the city is quiet. There's a lot to see and do in Tokyo too, so... you'd be able to freely explore to your heart's content.

[Free being the important word here. She doesn't put emphasis on the word, she's trying so hard not to toe the line drawn by Faith's love of her god... but she has to keep that hand held out.]

[Faith, meanwhile- look, she may or may not have some kind of conception of "Christmas", but right now she's got the expression of an only child seeing piles of shiny wrapped boxes and knowing there are no sibling names to be found on the accompanying tags.]

I must confess, I'm not certain where I would start.

It can be... a lot. I've lived in Tokyo all my life and even I get overwhelmed if I have to go to some of the more popular areas of the city.

[She's sure, even if she hasn't completely fallen to her shut-in ways, she'd still need to prepare herself physically and emotionally when going out in the kinds of crowds she sees.]

You can find a place for pretty much anything you want to see or do or find. Food, clothes, music... there are a lot of amazing buildings to see, too. But a good place to start...

I go to the CD store most often, when I do go out. They have all sorts of artists and genres. It's the perfect place to find inspiration for Niigo's own work.

CDs- a medium for storing large quantities of information, yes?

I believe I understand the basic principles on which they operate, but I would love to be able to examine them in person. Such information density is usually only possible with magic, to have it accomplished without is quite a feat.
